Rubber stamps

Rubber Stamps – is the generic term used to describe a device that makes an impression in ink onto paper or other substrates. Rubber Stamps have traditionally been thought of as  ‘hand stamps‘ i.e. those used with a separate stamp pad, but with Trodat creating the first ever self-inking stamp in the 1950’s the term ‘rubber stamp’ is today used loosely and can describe many different types of stamp device used to make an impression.
